Just picked up my new 801 and spent the last hour lost in Barcelona getting used to the bike. Love it so far but have a few questions/issues

- My right hand mirror is loose already, it spins back when I accelerate. How do I tighten this?
- is there meant to be a toolkit under the seat? I don't have one :/. Is there something similar/better I can buy on Amazon if the dealer can't produce one
- I have service lights already, I'm assuming this will all be reset after the break in service?
- I'm about 65kg, should I adjust the preload at all?

Thanks!

- to tighten, the mirror needs 2 (I believe) 17mm wrenches. One to hold the bolt and one to tighten. Simply move the rubber housing up and you’ll see how it works.
- yes, mine came with an orange (ktm) toolkit.
- if it’s a brand new bike (0km) there shouldn’t be a service light. Mine came up at 1000km (ofcourse) for it’s service.
- preload is a preference/‘sag’-thing. Google ‘SAG motorcycle’ and you’ll have a good starting point.

Mine came with this. Maybe check with your dealer... Did you look under the seat? It could be wedged between the battery and the frame?

I carry a smaller kit by Motion Pro and a MTB multi-tool. An adjustable wrench is always useful too. 1782062707008.jpg
