What happens at the 1,000km mark?

I wonder what causes the price difference.
Just had mine serviced for the 1000km and total costs were 180 euros.

Oil change (filter+oil), full check and ‘KTM diagnosis fee’. Including labour. Took about an hour.

Just checked it; it was even more EUR 350,- plus Tax; nearly EUR 420,- in total / it was the annual service.

They calculate EUR 150,- plus Tax per hour; and more than 1,5 hours of labour; and the 10 minutes "test ride" was another EUR 25,- extra... 😆

Yes, I know 😊 Only happens 1 out of 10 rides. Shutting the bike completely off and then restarting solves the problem of the dashboard in my case.
Mine too...but i think It shold not happens
I just paid an eye-watering £440 for the annual service. Unbelievable. I will be shopping around next year.
Even with a 16000 kms interval/manual service is a nonsense price, if this going to be every year....maybe a chinesse bike with a 5000 kms interval service is more suitable

It's not often I get to say this anymore but it is a lot better in the US, at least with my dealer. He is 2.5 hours and a ferry ride away so I built a visit in when I rode to a brewery. I did my own oil change at home, showed him the receipts and they plugged in my computer to update the software. Zero charge and he checked me off as having done a yearly visit. Took a 1390 superduke for a ride while I was there, brutal machine.
