Thanks for the reply and bit of a shame that there is not a noticeable difference in sound.
I’d love to have something which matches the sleek lines of the bike but without of a deeper tone.
The ixil ones seem to have this effect, but I don’t really like the look of these exhaust that much
Does anyone have experiences with FF carbon? They offer reasonably affordable carbon replacements for the radiator cover and healguards.
Any other carbon parts available at third parties?
I’ve also replaced the bar end weights with highsider bar ends to fit the bar end mirrors. No issue with fitment. I tried a few of the included spacers and used the one that fits best.
Only slight vibrations in the left mirror at higher rpm. Might be fixed by further tightening the new bar ends
Do you have a sound clip of this slip on with the bike? I'm really tempted to buy the black version as it's below €500,- here in NL and the lines are very nice. Also, there is a small piece of me that appreciates the heritage with the LeoVince for Nuda.
Also, @loki_ have you checked if it's...
What direction did you apply the vinyl wrap?
Also, as the original tank covers have the 801 sticker, do you think this will be visible under the wrap?
I’m thinking of one of the following colours, although I need to see them in person to be sure:
Has anyone tried the LeoVince LV-14 yet?
I really love the lines as the endcap seems to follow the same vertical line as the OEM, but with the black look and history of LeoVince with the Nuda, this could be a really nice option.
Only issue I have now, is that the soundclip posted on their own...
Hi Tom,
what straps are you using? or just generic ones?
You referenced to this thread from the "Ready for Tour" discussion and I have to say that this low profile solution is really nice. Especially as it looks like something you can leave on permanently under the seat (without it showing) if...
Would be great if they would make something like this for the 801s: https://ktm-versand.de/en/powerparts/seats/street/86786/luggage-carrier?srsltid=AfmBOoqAzItpgKQpXrlkf6kqxh5RmEN3cOg0tvkbdQlEJnvZoK_QWUz-
Really fits the rugged and utilitarian look of the svartpilen.
Also, pretty much similar...
Where have you been able to source just the rear bag brackets? I’m planning to go on a tour through the alps September this year and will likely copy your rear luggage setup ;)
I wasn't aware you also require the additional ECU. That immediately makes it very expensive at around 650,- in parts alone.
Here in NL I haven't had any officer spot any removed catalytic converter as they initially check if it's an OEM muffler and wether or not the DB killer is still...
