My Svartpilen 701 rides faultlessly. With crisp acceleration and no flat spots. But yesterday on starting from cold with it on the side stand it ran with a lumpy idle, restart. Then all is fine And runs great when riding. Any ideas on what it could be? Sensor? Fuel to air mixture needs...

Thanks for the reply. U have saved me a lot of money. I have the cast wheels, and didn’t realise I would need to change the discs and Abs rings. Did t realise they would be different. Thought I could just move them onto the other wheels.

im considering fitting some ktm 690:supermoto wheels to my Svartpilen . In ur opinion is it worth the expand is it a straight swap? Any info appreciated. Cheers. Jim.

Only the factory immobiliser. No aftermarket stuff bike turns on, everything else works. Fuel pump primes. TC Failure then displays press starter- nothing happens. not even a click. fuses checked on the side of the bike, the four abs ones and both the main and the spare and all appear to be...

It’s not the light. It’s a message on the screen. TC Failure. The bike won’t start to allow me to move off to put the tc and Abs light out.

Hello all. Looking for some advice if anyone can help. I’ve recently bought a Svartpilen 701 having previously owned a Vitpilen. All was great until last week when the delivery became very very jerky at 6k revs. So much it nearly had me off the bike. Tightened battery terminals all was well...
