i have installed the heat shield too, i will keep an eye on the shock absorver

i have always been a lover of low-medium displacement 4 cylinders engines, an always a kawasaki rider (the vitpilen is my 1st not kawa), maybe a zx6r, or even a 3 cilinders zxmoto 820 rr (for the price and the quality is a good option...who knows...)

WOWWW what a beast...i will keep mine maybe 2 more years and i will be back to 4 cylinders.. Enjoy the new horse, or i should say herd of horsessss

I have the vitpilen and rode it in night..i have to say the light power for me is not enough, i guess the svartpilen ilumination sholud be better

maybe they have used the most attractive model they have done to promote the brand

well, just think about the funny side of the problem, we can 3D print this item....

i have not used that piece of the kit, here you can check the installation in a ktm 790, the frame seems to be sligthly diferent

i was waiting for the low displacement 4 cylinders (i have always loved the zxr400, i had one, bandit 400...etc). Now, in Spain, we have the kove 450r and the zxmoto 450 rr (amazing bikes and amazing prices 7000 eu on the road...to put that in context the kawasaki zx4rr is 10500 euros..) To be...

me too, just one bolt...just be sure the shield is touching nothing, even with the suspension under load and everything will be ok...it is hard to belive that the problem of the rear shock aboserver comes from the heat of the catalyst....given the distance between both elements...but let`s give...

heat shield installed, just one bolt...it is not possible to fix the 2 front bolts....i have tried it and no problem of all. I have sticked adhesive heat shiled too under the gadget.

yeah, it is a bit scary in case we wanted to trade the bike...but this is what it is....keep enjoying your bike

I had the same issue with my TFT screen. Had to replace under warranty the battery and the issue seems to be fixed

I have received the heat shield for the ktm 790 and this is not fully compatible with our bikes, need to do some ajustments

ok, maybe i will make a misture of solution, use of metal shield with thermal adhesive ...just to prevent, i am not really sure about what may causes the shock issue...better prevent than cure, anyway, it wont be something hurmfull for the bike thanks Tom
