    File Section

Is there a file section or can one be added to place stuff like the owner manuals for each year/model so we can just download them instead of searching the web each time?

    Fresco Underbelly Exhaust Sounds Great

The Fresco came with the db killer but I did not install it.

    Fresco Underbelly Exhaust Sounds Great

I put one on my 2018 Vit and found it pretty easy to install. I prebuilt it, removed the old system and with the bike on front and rear paddock stands just slipped it in from underneath. As far as loudness, you can see the difference between stock and the Fresco in my video. I do not find it too...

    Anything from Vitpilenforum Saved?

I haven't seen this asked but was anything saved from Vitpilenforum? This forum was created because of the poor moderation/administration of Vitpilenforum and a lot of us came over to here to have something better in a forum. But there was still a lot of good, informative information on that...

    Fender Eliminator 401

I have mine still but no wiring as that was needed for my new plate holder. Also no bolts to hold it on (I think I lost them). I'm in Toronto.

    My (Favorite) 401 Mods

    - Fresco exhaust - licence plate holder replaced with a cheap but well built under seat plate holder - sequential L.E.D. turn signals - added the tank rack from a Svart to strap stuff to - pulled off annoying silver stickers (restick them under the seat) - rear foot peg removal - bar end mirrors...

    Tire changes...

Nice! Since I don't have a garage to store my stuff I went with the TMT3 a few years ago. It folds up so easier to store in a closet. 18" to 21" so it works for my Harleys, Goldwing, CCM and Ural. I haven't tried it yet on a 17" but will soon as my Vit needs a new rear. I might have to make some...

    Your biking History

In my signature. Still have them all but looking to get rid of the Ninja, the Vit has replaced it.

    Engine start issue

It is possible that the starter button wire is internally frayed/broken. When straight or right the wire strands separate and when turned left they connect. Check for any wire/wires that seem to be pulling tight when the steering is straight or turned.

Heated Gear: Hotwired Jacket and Pant Liners

Good review. You touched on a lot of things that I found when I bought my electric clothes setup. I have everything from Gears, heated insoles, gloves, chaps and jacket plus a dual control unit and extra cables. And I haven't used it in years. I hated the amount of time it took to get everything...

    Lean Angle

From your picture the protractor is in the wrong place. Once the bike starts leaning, let's say to the right, the center of the contact patch of the tire continues to move right or up the tire. In your picture you should move the protractor a few centimeters to the right so it is in the middle...

    Winter Prep Thread

First wash the bike then spray it on everything except brake rotors. I'll then use a cloth to spread it around and make sure that it gets everywhere. If you do plan to ride with it on I would avoid the seat, pegs, and grips, anything you will touch with your body. Do a little test ride because...
