Eliminating the dB killer, as in removing the end cap of the exhaust pipe by drilling the rivets and then sawing off the dB killer that is inside ? Cause I was planing to do that anyway (I did it on my Svart 401's stock exhaust, which resulted in a great sound improvement).

Ok great thanks. Do you mean all these three modifications will achieve less jerkiness only when combined altogether, or each of them will already have an noticeable effect by themselves ?

Hi everyone, just bought a second hand 701 "style". I think I've read somewhere, sometime ago, that there are some 'plug and play' ECUs that you can fit the bike with so that it'll run in a less jerky way at low rpm. Is this a fantasy, or a reality ? Thanks !

@stroem I believe @BISavage is being sarcastic here, as he seems to be a happy 401 rider himself ;) The looks of the whole vit/svart platform is indeed polarizing, but most of the people who can't stand their aesthetics tend to like highly modified turbobusas and other two wheeled abominations...
