Extended warranties are really just insurance. Not worth it IMO (besides, I'm pretty sure the extended warranty terms would exclude any damage caused by track use) Those things you mention were factory recalls and should've already been done to the bike. In any case, they were free.

The Svartpilen was only manufactured in 2019 and 2020. If it's black with cast wheels it's 2019, otherwise most likely 2020.

It happened the same to me last week on my way to work, ABS, TC and even the quickshifter stopped working (bike went fully "analog" while riding on the highway). The bike was working fine again on my way home (I had to reset the CEL with the OBD though), so I don't think it was anything loose...

This sucks a lot, if anything because Pierer likes to save his pennies more than Bezos and getting parts will be virtually impossible. Mind you, I can sill get OEM parts for my 96 CBR600F3 It also sucks because the LC4 single is awesome, and it's a shame it won't be available in any street...

I actually like the stock dash, not the buttons though (to be fair, at this point I think I got used to them, or maybe they're just broken in)
