I found almost new calipers from SA1290R close to my home for 200€, so I went to buy them. They fit 1:1, Rottweiler performance used them on Duke 790 also. Change was easy. I went just for a short ride. It went better with each braking, don ´t know, if the pads are fully settled, but it brakes...

I have the EBC almost from the very beginning. More stopping power is needed anyway ;-)

I do not have a problem with warping, mine seems to be fine. My issue is low braking efficiency. Which is much more “visible” after the suspension upgrade. I have problem with brakes. Compare to my other bikes is feels weak. Or at least the power on the lever has to be much much more hard than...

Back here again in the topic. Still thinking, if the problem is lack of braking power, or just bad feeling on the lever. I do not want to invest into both. Better pump or bigger rotors … or better calipers. What do you think? Edit: bike is in the supermoto mode

I can buy for a very good price front 320mm brake discs from KTM SMT 890 (KTM number A67509060000). Will they fit on Svart 801?

Has anybody picture/photo or know the type of the ECU? I don ´t want to remove the tank to find out. I asked some dyno tuners here about the mapping and to be sure, they can connect to the ecu, they asked me to verify the type. Thanks

I made it around 4000 on ODO. Couple weeks ago, with 9000km on ODO, I made a huge upgrade on suspension and now I switched back to original sprocket. Reason? With better suspension I have higher speed going to the curve and curve speed also. The original sprocket now feels much better.

I put end-bar mirrors on my Svart, so I had to remove them. I know, that is not an answer on your questions, just wanted to say, that you can live without them.
