New Bike, now all I need is a Plaid Shirt.

So on the first real ride today I noticed a few things,
The traction control does work,
I didnt find the shift light for some reason,
6th gear is doesnt work below like 80mph so I had to go on the autobahn... yeah, had to...

And I really like how strong the motor feels; how it seemed to just naturally want to stay between 4500 and 6500 rpm the whole time.

Really... at 65 mph 6th gear is idling.
I did change the sprocket, stuck with the stock "Bonneville" ratio for the break in period as I figured I can load up the motor better that way.

That would be a little concerning… was it right after shutting down? It would take awhile for anti freeze to separate from the oil like that.

Actually, the color coding is very interesting.
To my knowledge, Oil comes in Clear, Brown, Green, Yellow, Purple, and Red.

Some oils even contain marker elements so that it can be proven by a manufacturer whether the correct oil was used in a motor which has failed.

As with antifreeze, Blue, Green (yellow), and Red (pink) are available, are typically an indication of which type is being used and possibly help against incorrect mixing of different types.

Previously, even blue brake fluid was available...
