I like the drop-in aspect of the cam and the dyno looks sweet as well. Not worried about the very top end pinch, as the rest of the spread looks great.

Anyone have any experience with this cam or his company? About $650 for the cam. Expensive for one small cam . . .

Thanks.

I wrote the company, and they were very adamant about the need for optimizing AFR with this cam, and they reference it in their doc on the cam too. Dropping in the cam without a tune and a PCV is prob a bad move.

Do you know if he had a dyno tune on it?

In the Vitpilen racing group on Facebook they talk about 2020ish original cam, that should produce more peak power.. (they talk about euro 5 model cams, I thought all Vitpilens are euro 4 but what do I know..)

What about the Euro5 690/701 SM or Enduro models?

At least thy share the "same" heart with our Vitpilen.

Anyone knows the specs of the Lyndon Poskitt camshaft.
I compared the specs from AGAP with Daniel Crower Racing and if I made no mistake, the DCR cam has less lift than stock with ~10 ° more duration.
I've read somewhere that Lyndon Poskitt cams are made by AGAP.

Had never heard of AGAP. They do have several grinds for the 690. Interested to see what the most mellowest grind does on the dyno: "AGAP 243-02".

Anyone have any experience with AGAP? @Max Kool ?

A swedish camshaft manufacturer with background in engine development.
This pdf from their website contains older specs compared to the specs I posted in post 8, but they will give a good overview.

The 243-02 and the other variants from this table seem to be for the old engines.

For our Vitpilen generation engine should fit the 250_259 and 262_270 variants.

Info out of a Facebook group :
"for our generation of lc4 motor he doesn't make a cam with enough lift or steep enough profile to require shaving the head or upgrading the valve springs.

I asked them why they didn't make a similar camshaft to the old generation and they said adequate valve springs were not available and increasing the lift beyond this point was not effective."

What do you think?

More torque and power as simpel as it is.
It's also possible to affect engine characteristic/driveability in some way.

I personal would like to have more end power while the low and mid range should stay minimum at OEM level.

Maybe @projek701 can tell his experience with different camshafts in detail.
In his words, this thing will breathe.

I got feedback from LPR about the spec of their offered "Performance Camshaft for Twin Balancer KTM 690 / Husqvarna 701“.
It turns out that it has the same specs as the AGAP 250_259.

So the myth of AGAP delivers camshafts, at least this specific one, for LPR is true.
