So, after an incident with a deer at 100 km/h, the insurance totalled out my 401 (which I didnt crash by the way and was able to ride home!!!),

I decided to get a brand new 2019 Vitpilen 701 with 0 km.

And I got it delivered directly to my place; check it out.

I am looking forward to riding it.
As there is already salt on the roads, it will be a few months before I do though.

I am sure its a different animal.
 
Uhm... can you explain the plaid shirt thing? I'm missing that one....
What mods are you planning? Going to do them over the winter?

Not sure... thats what it looks like though.
Maybe more accurate would be to state, it looks like before they delivered it, they put in new oil and a new gel battery.
 
Not to start a break in procedure or oil conversation. But would be curious if they did change the oil with 0 miles on it what oil they put back in it since supposedly they come from the factory with a special break in oil.

Well, here is my line of reasoning:
1. based on where I bought it from, I figured it would be given a once over before they sent it to me.
2. wrench mark on the drain plug
3. fresh oil on the the threads of the fill plug

(smells like mens cologne --> motul oil)
