In one of his videos this guy shows the carbon parts he's put on his Vitpilen 401.
Seen it. He basically says the parts are crap.

Looks like the same mounting points. I can say with absolute certainty.....maybe.
No input on the looks? Will it look crapppy?

I am neutral on the look of carbon. I Iike it in some applications. The shape of the KTM fender itself looks good compared to many modern bikes.
I prefer the more traditional look myself, but it would likely make your bike one of a kind, which is always cool.
I would be lying if a said I do not care what others think, but the main thing is make yourself happy and just hope others like it as well.
Self expression is part of the fun of ownership. In my case much of the fun.
Remember what Ricky Nelson said after the Garden Party.
If you like the idea. go for it.
After I see them on a Svart, I might think I need the carbon pieces too.

I don't think it will look crappy but I do think the stock front fender is beautiful.

My parts are finally being shipped but I “need” a matte carbon chainguard or stainless steel chainguard. Still wondering where you found yours!?

But I can’t recommend them yet. I haven’t even mounted all the parts yet. I had some issues with the front fender. So I’ll come back with a verdict and a more detailed review after I’ve fitted all the parts, hopefully in a few days.

Is the fitting better ?
Yes, but it’s not the same as the original. I had to swap one bolt for another that I had laying around. I’ll try installing the hugger tomorrow and hopefully I’ll have time to fix the front fender as well.
