It's time, it was fun.

2018 Husqvarna Vitpilen 701. An absolute gem in the canyons. ~75hp with a real (measured) weight below 350lbs with an up/down quickshifter.

Bike is clean, no damage. Garage kept, and never saw rain. I am the second owner and bought the bike in November 2019 with 580 miles. Only ridden for pleasure. Registration paid until October 2023.

Currently close to 9000 miles, oil was changed every 3000 miles with full synthetic oil, valves were checked at 6000 miles and were in spec. The oil plug magnet and the oil screens were debris free at every oil change. Last oil change was done on August 6th 2022 at 8930 miles. I’ll include a half gallon of Motorex 15W50. Brake and clutch fluid were flushed this year.

Tires are good (front is a good as new), Continental ContiRoad front and rear. I installed both this year. Rear DOT 2420, front DOT 3020.

Front fairing by Gas and Retro, front and rear led indicators by Motoism and a TST Industries indicator relay (so no hyperflash).
Evotech Performance tail tidy.
Handlebars raised 35mm with Gilles risers. Small CRG fold-in mirror on the left bar. The bike comes with a factory duo seat cover with a small bag attached, and the stock duo seat.

Front forks have fresh, heavier oil: Spectro SAE 15, and are adjustable for compression and rebound.
Rear shock is a Nitron R3, which is adjustable for hi and low speed compression, rebound, preload and ride height. Reservoir is mounted on the exhaust hanger.
Suspension is setup for a 180-190lbs rider that loves canyons.
No duo pegs, adjustable rider pegs (25mm in either direction -BobMoto-)

Airbox lid is removed (more midrange torque), and is included.
Akrapovic slipon has baffle removed, and is included. Bike sounds fantastic without being obnoxiously loud.
Gearing is 15-42 (stock is 16-40 which is way too tall).
Brembo SC front brake pads.
Rottweiler fuel dongle and SAS delete, carbon canister deleted as well.
KTM ABS/TC dongle, Shorai LiFePo4 battery, Oberon clutch slave.

This bike has been my baby and needs nothing but a new happy owner. It comes with a clean title, two keys and the owner’s manual.

miles: 9200
asking $8999.- pick up in LA, I don't ship. And of course, no dealer fees. :)

Not in a rush, but eyeballing the Ducati SuperSport 950 S. Maybe get a discount on a '22 model by the end of the year...

Maybe stick to one motorcycle only for a while...

Roll it in the shed, throw a blanket on it, by a Ducati, roll out and blow the dust of the Pilen in couple of years?

I almost always regret selling things after a while.

Dude, sorry to hear that but glad that you are ok. Unfortunately, of course, the bike won’t self heal like your ribs will and the bike damage is not bad at all... Especially if you end keeping her as a result.
And whatever you do, Do Not Sneeze! GWS!

I have been riding for over 44 years including ownership of over 19 bikes and I can truly say that the Vit & Svartpillen 701’s simply encompass everything that enjoying motorcycle riding is. Going full circle from multi cylinder machines back to a single with this much technology is something to behold. Don’t let the sale of that bike be the one that got away regrettably.
And how are the ribs feeling lately?
